Orlando Pirates branches to merge

The Orlando Pirates Supporters’ Club Bela-Bela Branch intends to merge with Modimolle and later with the rest of Waterberg to make one massive support branch.

The two branches have been in ongoing talks to facilitate the merger.

Another meeting between both branches is scheduled to take place on Saturday 7 March, where Bela-Bela will be hosting Modimolle.

Bela-Bela branch chairperson, Simon Mtarini, said a spit braai was planned on the afternoon after the meeting, alongside the Absa Premiership fixture between Orlando Pirates and Golden Arrows.

A guest house was being considered as the venue for the get-together.

The meeting was originally scheduled for Sunday 9 February, but was postponed due to logistical challenges.
