Easter in Modimolle will be different for the disadvantaged

As Easter is fast approaching, people are once more reminded of the sacrifice that was made on the cross to their benefit.

Therefor the management of ModiMall and the organizers of Hands of Hope have joined forces to make a positive impact on disadvantaged members of the community on Saturday 20 April by introducing the Street Store concept.

The Street Store concept started in Cape Town in 2014 and has since taken the world by storm. Not less than 900 Street Store events have taken place globally.

The concept involves that a clothing store, based on a pop-up basis which operates rent-free, opens up. Every person in the community can be part of this global initiative by donating clothes, accessories and gear that are in a good condition. This will enable the less fortunate a dignified opportunity to choose an outfit for themselves.

The event will be hosted in the parking lot of ModiMall on Saturday 20 April from 09:00 to 14:00.

There will be drop-off points in the mall prior to the event. Be on the lookout for the world famous Street Store logo and make a difference in a less fortunate person’s life. Your donation can count.

Together the community can reach the lost, heal the pain and restore what is broken by a small gesture of donating a clothing item.
