The festive season fun games facilitated by the Mabaleng Beer Hall are back with a bang.

Co-ordinator Levy Thantsha said the games would start as early as 11am on Saturday 8 December, at the backyard grounds of Bela-Bela Community Hall.

The games, which feature soccer and netball, are the brainchild of Mabaleng Beer Hall owner, the medic Dr Oupakie Masemola.

The games were first launched two years ago, drawing young and old to showcase their talent on the soccer pitch and netball field.

He said those wishing to register for the Mabaleng Social Games were advised to contact the beer facility.

“We are back and will make the games a roaring success” he said.

Upwards of eight soccer and netball teams were expected to feature in the Mabaleng Social Games.

Former Orlando Pirates player, the retired educator Cisco Maphokga was expected to form part of the golden oldies showcasing their stuff.

Thantsha said teams and individuals from across the Waterberg were welcome to register.
