Skills tested at golf competition
With the Koro Creek Golf Course an extra deep shade of green this summer, golfers are eager to spend an afternoon on the course in Modimolle.
The winners of the club competition that took place on Saturday 13 January were Jack Radford and Buks du Bruyn with 44 points, with Eddie Orsmond and Gerrit Pretorius in a close second position with 43 points. Terry Rodgers and Alex Bishop took third place with 42 points.
On Wednesday 17 January, Antonie Abrahamse won with 43 points, Collings Lombard was runner-up with also 43 points and Johan Grove was third with 42 points.
The Koro Creek Bushveld Club Competitions take place every Wednesday and Saturday with the Waterberg Toyota Better Ball Competition taking place on the last Saturday of each month. The Ocean Basket Individuals is played on the first Wednesday of each month.
All golfers are cordially invited to partake in the competitions.
