Bela-Bela‘s rising soccer star Joseph Sebola is currently going through a training ground assessment by his new team.

The ABC Motsepe League affiliates, Ndengesa FC of Giyani, have since got Sebola to sign on the dotted line as a full-time player for the team

Sebola’s former coach at Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC, Sam Modise, said the youngster was being gradually blooded into his new team.

The training ground processes include, among others, getting the player to understand Ndengesa coach, Peace Khoza’s philosophy.

This is a fragile period over which the coach may decide this or that player does not fit in his plans and requirements.

The 19-year-old Sebola has since relocated to Giyani for pre-season preparations with his new teammates.

Bela-Bela Soccer Academy head coach, Sam Modise, said the move was appropriate because of his warm relations with his Ndegesa FC counterpart, Peace Khoza.

Modise was the in-between to get Sebola to go on trials at Ndengesa FC, and now the player can claim to have found a niche in the higher ranks of South African football.

Sebola is an experienced campaigner in his own right, having been part of the Bela-Bela High School team which featured in the national Sanlam Kay Motsepe School Cup.
