Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC trials draw them from far

Ongoing trials at the Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC are drawing interest from beyond the town.

Head coach Sam Modise said the under-15 trials, starting on Saturday 14 September, have attracted interest from as far afield as Polokwane and Tzaneen.

He said the trials continue to be held at the local Sunfa Stadium.

Trials have already been concluded for the under-19 category.

A total of 19 players from outside Bela-Bela have passed the trials, and were being considered to be blooded into the school’s squad.

The players are required to bring a birth certificate and Grade 7 report from the previous school term, and also their playing kits and their own refreshments.

Trails are free of charge.
