Mouth-watering fixtures in Waterberg Nedbank Cup

The South African Football Association (SAFA) in the Waterberg region conducted a draw for the Nedbank Cup on Tuesday 3 September in Modimolle.

The competition draw produced interesting fixtures, among them a litmus test clash between Mookgophong Barcelona FC and Modimolle Terrors FC.

It is a given that one of the two teams will make an early exit from the tournament.

The match was scheduled to take place at Extension 2’s Mookgophong Grounds, on Saturday 7 September.

The newly-promoted Volcano FC of Vaalwater is gearing up for a baptism of fire, away to Modimolle Troublemakers FC also on Saturday.

Another team which was promoted from the lower Modimolle-Mookgophong Local Football Association (LFA) levels, Multinature FC, will travel to Bela-Bela to do battle with Swagger FC.

In Rapotokwane the battle lines have been drawn between the hosts Qualitho FC and Celtic FC.

Boys 2 Men FC of Vaalwater was scheduled to host Bela Bela’s Diesel N Dust FC.

Another Nedbank Cup fixture was scheduled to take place in Bela-Bela, where Mookgophong Junior Stars FC was expected to visit Bela-Bela Soccer Academy on Saturday.
