Bela-Bela High School returned from a short-lived Kay Motsepe Schools Cup campaign with a mixed bag of fortunes.

While the team was bundled out of the tournament by Ditlalemeso High School 5-4 on penalties, two of the local players have since caught the eye of people who matter.

The provincial elimination stage of the tournament was played in Polokwane on Saturday 24 August.

Striker Kgaugelo “Majoro” Sebola has been recalled for further trials by Absa Premiership campaigners, Bidvest Wits FC, starting on Monday 26 August.

His team-mate at Bela-Bela High School, attacking mid-fielder James Ndlovu, has been invited by Caf Champions League giants, Mamelodi Sundowns FC, on a yet to be determined date.

He will be landing in Chloorkop for a pre-trail assessment.
