Two of the Waterberg SAB Regional League champions players who featured in the play-offs, caught the eye of talent scouts from Mamelodi Sundowns FC.

Suffice to say the latter Absa Premiership campaigners are the Caf Champions League winners.

Jan Baloyi and Ramphuru “West” Molekoa have been invited for trials at Mamelodi Sundowns FC.

Baloyi has been signed with the Mamelodi Sundowns FC reserve team, while Molekoa will be joining the team in January due to schooling commitments.

Modimolle Terrors FC coach Phuti Mabotja said he was always impressed by the hard work the two players had put in.

Modimolle Terrors FC represented the Waterberg in the provincial play-offs for promotion into the third-tier ABC Motsepe League.

Ngwaabe City Motors FC and Makotopong Brazilians FC have since been promoted into the latter lucrative league.
