Down but not out goes Waterberg SAB Regional League champions, Modimolle Terrors FC, who were bundled out of the Limpopo provincial play-offs in spectacular fashion.

Modimolle Terrors FC represented the Waterberg in the provincial play-offs for promotion into the third-tier ABC Motsepe League.

Ngwaabe City Motors FC and Makotopong Brazilians FC have since been promoted into the latter lucrative league.

Back to the home front, it will indeed be hard for the mother region’s soccer lovers to believe that on the second day of the play-offs, Sunday 30 June, Modimolle Terrors FC came tumbling down
7-1 at the hands of Ngwaabe City Motors FC.

On a weekend that was dark for Waterberg soccer, Modimolle Terrors FC lost all the team’s fixtures at the South African Football Association’s Limpopo provincial play-offs.

On Saturday 29 June, Modimolle Terrors FC went down 1-0 against Mpheni Home Defenders, and went on to lose 3-1 against Makotopong Brazilians FC.

All this means it is back to the drawing boards for Modimolle Terrors FC, and by extension the broader Waterberg soccer fraternity.
