The South African Football Association (SAFA) in the Waterberg has confirmed the date for the SAB Regional League playoffs.

The much-anticipated event will be held at Thabazimbi’s Thaba Park, on Saturday 15 June.

Winners of all three streams from across the region will battle it out for a place in the provincial playoffs.

Modimolle Terrors FC will represent Stream A, while Benfica FC represents Stream C of the league. In stream B, the winner was yet to be confirmed at the time of going to press, pending a
disciplinary hearing outcome.

The team that gains the highest points among the three, will advance to the provincial leg of the elimination stages.

The second- and third-placed teams will settle for position two and three on the regional league log standings.

The runners-up from all three streams will also do battle for positions four, five and six.

All matches will be played at Thaba Park Stadium.

In the first match of the day, the runners-up for Stream B (yet to be confirmed) will take on Mookgophong Junior Stars FC at 8:00 in the morning.

The second match of the day will be between Modimolle Terrors FC and Benfica FC of Lephalale at 10:00.

At 12:00, Palala Giant Killers FC of Lephalale will square off with Stream B runners-up.

Later in the day, Benfica will lock horns with the winner of Stream B at 14:00, followed by the encounter between Mookgophong Junior Stars FC and Palala Giant Killers FC at 16:00.
