Hawks circling over departing Polokwane City coach

The proverbial hawks are reportedly circling over the signature of outgoing Polokwane City head coach Jozef Vukusic.

The proverbial hawks are reportedly circling over the signature of outgoing Polokwane City head coach Jozef Vukusic.

The man dropped a bombshell in recent weeks announcing his departure from the club, just weeks ahead of Polokwane City’s campaign in the MTN8 competition.

As early as Tuesday 28 May the mainstream media was abuzz with speculation that no less than three Absa Premiership teams were keen to enter into negotiations with the much-loved Rise and
Shine coach.

Polokwane City has since then kept its cards close to the chest as to a replacement for the Slovakian mentor.

On a positive vein, Limpopo’s three campaigners in the coveted Absa Premiership, Polokwane City, Baroka and Thohoyandou Black Leopards are all guaranteed a place in the next season, after
surviving the dreaded relegation axe.

The only disappointing news is the real danger of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila’s losing out in the promotional play-offs, for the remaining spot in the paid ranks.
