Mwape Musonda becoming cult hero

Thohoyandou Black Leopards FC lethal striker Mwape Musonda‘s name is up there with the best in South African football.

There is already a buzz around the Zambian national after top coach Steve Khomphela questioned why Musonda was not shortlisted for the ABSA Premier League player of the Season Award.

The Thohoyandou Black Leopards FC striker is the undisputed top goal-scorer at 14 goals.

At another level, Amazulu FC owner, Patrick Sokhela has denied his team had its sights on the bushy-bearded Zambian.

Musonda was at the forefront of an uphill struggle to safe Thohoyandou Black Leopards FC from being relegated back to the second-tier National First Division (NFD).
