Mookgophong teams on the rise

Third-placed Mookgophong Barcelona FC and Mookgophong Junior Stars FC (2) seem to be determined to fight all the way to the top.

Third-placed Mookgophong Barcelona FC and Mookgophong Junior Stars FC (2) seem to be determined to fight all the way to the top.

This was evident when Mookgophong Barcelona FC defeated NTK Happy Boys FC(9) 6-1 last weekend, to secure maximum points at home.

Mookgophong Junior Stars FC on the other hand did not have a fixture last weekend.

On Saturday 16 February, Mookgophong Barcelona FC will travel to Modimolle to square off with the local Bussel FC (10), while Mookgophong Junior Stars FC hosts Bela-Bela Mayor’s Cup champions Swagger Stars FC (14).

NTK Happy Boys FC will have a chance to redeem themselves when they welcome Opleft United FC (6) at the Ephraim Mogale Stadium in Modimolle.

Opleft United FC will also be eyeing the three points, following a 3-1 loss at the hands of Bela-Bela Diesel N Dust FC (8) last weekend.

Bela-Bela Diesel N Dust FC will host Bela-Bela Pirates FC (11) in a local derby, while on the other side of town Bela Bela Soccer Academy (7) welcomes Qualitho FC (5).

The Qualitho FC lads are oozing with confidence following a heavy 4-1 victory over Bela-Bela Pirates FC.

Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC also claimed an impressive 3-0 victory away at Swagger Stars FC.

Log leaders Modimolle Terrors FC will host fourth-placed Boys 2 Men FC of Vaalwater, after crashing Modimolle Troublemakers FC(15) in a local derby on Sunday.

Troublemakers will host Storm Breakers FC (12) of Vaalwater at the Ephraim Mogale Stadium.
