Like all handball structures nationwide, the Limpopo federation was nudging its affiliates to take note of upcoming tourtnaments, among these the All Africa Games and the African Nations
Olympics, scheduled for yet-to-be-announced dates in Lesotho two years down the line

SA Handball Federation President Ally Pole said the World Youth Olympics were also lined up to take place in the year 2022.

“We are also planning to send our U-16 boys and girls to the Continental Beach Handball tournament to be held on the Island of Sal, Santa Maria, in Cape Verde from 14 to 23 June 2019.,” he explained.

Pole said the sport of handball would, going forward, be introduced to more and more schools.

The first to respond to the clarion call by the SA Handball Federation was technical director, Thabo Baloyi, who said the federation had agreed to come to the party.
