Modimolle Terrors FC was last season relegated from the third-tier ABC Motsepe League.

In Mookgophong, Waterberg SAB Regional League rookies, Barcelona FC was expected to host Boys 2 Men FC of Vaalwater.

Another league fixture was scheduled for Vaalwater’s Leseding Grounds, where Highlighters FC and Stormbreakers FC where expected to do battle in a local derby.
