SAB Regional League commences

The Waterberg SAB Regional League was expected to commence on Saturday, 20 October, with Bela-Bela Pirates FC scheduled to host NTK Happy Boys FC at the local Zone 14 Grounds.

Newly-promoted Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC was fixtured to welcome Junior Stars at Moloto Stadium, with Bela-Bela Diesel N Dust FC hosting Bussel FC at Sunfa Stadium.

At Rapotokwane Sports Grounds, soccer lovers were in for a treat, with a mouthwatering double-header affair.

The first showdown was scheduled to take place between Qualitho FC and Modimolle Celtic FC, with Opleft United FC hosting Modimolle Troublemakers FC later in the day.

The Qualitho FC players were still licking their wounds after being bundled out of the Nedbank Cup regional finals.

Waterberg SAB Regional League returnees, Modimolle Terrors FC, have an away date with Bela-Bela Swagger Boys FC at Moloto Stadium.

Modimolle Terrors FC was last season relegated from the third-tier ABC Motsepe League.

In Mookgophong, Waterberg SAB Regional League rookies, Barcelona FC was expected to host Boys 2 Men FC of Vaalwater.

Another league fixture was scheduled for Vaalwater’s Leseding Grounds, where Highlighters FC and Stormbreakers FC where expected to do battle in a local derby.
