Academy ready for promotion
The Bela-Bela Soccer Academy was already looking beyond the local football association league towards the higher Waterberg SAB Regional League.
The youngsters played a total of seven fixtures, winning them all.
Their remaining Bela-Bela Local Football Association (LFA) fixtures are just a formality, as they have already qualified for promotion.
The Bela-Bela Soccer Academy remained at the summit of the LFA.
The players are nurtured by some of the town’s best former soccer players, Bina Maseko, who plied his trade at Bela-Bela Diesel ‘n Dust FC, and academy owner, Sam Modise.
Modise is a former player of Diesel ‘n Dust FC, too.
In its most recent fixture, Bela-Bela Soccer Academy were 3-1 runaway winners against Bela-Bela Platinum Stars FC.
Modise alluded that the academy was looking beyond the LFA into life at the higher echelons of regional football.
