Mojalefa is making Thabazimbi proud

In today’s trying times many school learners are struggeling to keep up with the day-to-day challenges of juggling their schoolwork, extracurricular activities and friends, but 11-year old Mojalefa Mogale makes it look easy.

The young all-rounder from Laerskool Thabazimbi recently made headlines as part of the school’s Marimba Ensemble who dominated this year’s Allegretto Eisteddfod. He is the youngest member of the ensemble and already one of its best players.

During the 2021-Eisteddfod Mmojalefa and his ensemble received rave revues and an average score of 96,4%; so it came as no surprise when they dominated the competition at The Talent Africa (TA) Nationals this month.

They received gold at both the TA-regionals and national competition. If his achievements as a musician were not enough, Mojalefa also proved that he is a strong contender for a gold medal as he is one of Laerskool Thabazimbi’s most talented athletes and 7’s-rugby players.

He is the undenied title holder to many athletics records. To boot he is a keen scholar and has an average of over 80% in his academic work.

Whether it is behind his text books, on the rugby field or on the stage, Mojalefa proves time and time again that one can reach your goals in life with hard work and determination.

This young man has a friendly disposition and is seldom seen without a smile.
