Where to vote in Modimolle

South Africans will elect a new national assembly and a provincial legislature in each province during the general elections which will be held on Wednesday 29 May.

According to the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), more than 27,79 million voters are eligible to cast their votes.

This is the most voters since the first democratic elections in 1999.

Voters are encouraged to ensure that they are registered and that they know at which voting station they must vote. Residents in the Modimolle-Mookgophong Municipality with queries may visit the IEC’s offices next to the municipality for more information. (Voting stations for the Bela-Bela and Mookgophong areas were published last week.)

The IEC’s website, www.elections.org.za, provides further information.
