Hospital seeking relatives of deceased

The Warmbaths Hospital is making an appeal to the relatives of two deceased people who passed away this year and the families have not yet claimed the bodies for burial.

The first is a patient by the name of Marais van Heerden (born in 1968 according to his admittance form) who died in February this year after he was admitted to hospital to be treated for an unknown growth on his skin.

He died before he was referred to the Polokwane Provincial Hospital.

The second case is of an unknown male, who’s body ended up in the hospital mortuary without any prior record or identification.

The hospital is seeking people who might know Van Heerden to come forward.

People who may have filed a missing person report with the police are also encouraged to visit the hospital and determine whether the second body might be a potential family member or friend.
