Two suspects were expected to appear before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court midweek following the alleged dramatic theft and subsequent recovery of a flashy car owned by a Bela-Bela businessman.

Businessman and socialite, Jacob Tlou, woke up to find his car missing from a workshop he owns in Modimolle.

The missing car was later found at on the premises of a spares outlet in Pretoria West.

The police in Pretoria West on Tuesday 18 February confirmed two suspects were arrested following the incident.

They were scheduled to appear before the Pretoria West Magistrate’s Court midweek.

Tlou, who owns the service workshop in Modimolle, said he last parked his car at his workshop in Modimolle on Monday 10 February, after work at around 17:00.

The next morning, Tuesday 11 February, the car was nowhere to be found.

Tlou reported the matter to the police in Modimolle.

He said the workshop was broken into.

Tlou also posted the photo of the stolen vehicle on Facebook, which led to the dramatic recovery of the allegedly stolen vehicle.

Tlou was last seen driving his car on the last day of the VDub Festival which was held at Forever Resorts Warmbaths in Bela-Bela.
