In Modimolle on Saturday, 15 February, the popular Modi-Bioskop has requested that locals dress to the nines as they will be coming to attend the Valentine’s edition of the bi-weekly event.

The film screening will be held at Modimolle’s Mandela Park in Phagameng Township.

The Director of Malaika Media and Modi-Bioskop founder, Edward “Bra Sox” Masingi, said this weekend’s event will also be staged as the official launch of the township-based concept.

“Because we will be celebrating the month of love, we invited locals to wear formal clothing or red and white attire,” he said.

Masingi said a line-up of performances will be rendered at the event, followed by a pre-recorded speech by the director.

“Later in the day we will show two films as part of the entertainment for the day,” he said.

There will be no entrance fee at the event, and the dress code will be formal wear or red and white clothing.

To reserve a seat to the event, interested parties can RSVP calling Malaika Media or sending a WhatsApp to 0661319994/0715078123.
