All roads lead to Bela-Bela Multi-purpose Centre

All seven post-primary schools in Bela-Bela are expected to converge on the local Multi-purpose Centre for the annual matric awards.

The ceremony takes place on Friday 31 January.

The schools arriving for the awards are Vingerkraal High School, Bathopele High School, Raeleng Secondary, Maope High School, Bela-Bela High School, Ulando High School and Hoërskool Warmbad.

Bela-Bela municipal spokesperson, Kabelo Mosito, said this is an annual awards ceremony hosted by the municipality.

“We are going to be giving them awards according to their performance, and also to assist those who need assistance in registrations,” Mosito said.

He said the reason they invited the 2020 matriculates is to motivate them ahead of the New Year.

There will be motivational speakers, including the councillors, the department of education circuit manager and teacher unions.
