New Grade 8 for Spa Park Primary School

Spa Park Primary School in Bela-Bela will from the re-opening of schools add a new Grade 8 class.

Headmaster Johan Adams said on Tuesday 7 January it was expected the additional grade would accommodate an estimated upwards of 100 learners.

He said education authorities were in the process of delivering additional mobile classes, “hopefully” by the schools’ re-opening on Wednesday 15 January.

Adams said the new Grade 8 was a welcome relief to many learners in Spa Park and neighbouring Jinnah Park, who were forced to proceed for their Grade 8 classes in the township.

The learners have had to walk a long distance to the schools in the township, he said.

Adams said it was hoped the additional grade would open up the way for other higher grades to be added into Spa Park Primary School going forward.
