Zing Master takes Thabazimbi by storm

Popular DJ Zing Master swept through Thabazimbi like one great storm, sending locals dancing to his tunes on the occasion of a career expo in the town.

The expo was held at the Itireleng Secondary School sports grounds on Saturday 23 November.

The event was hosted by the Department of Higher Education and Training, Science and Innovation, with the objective to encourage learners to take up careers in the Mathematics and Science
fields.

Schools in attendance included Northam Comprehensive High School, Mabogopedi High School, Naletsana Combined School, Groenvlei Secondary School, Thekganang Technical High School, and Itireleng Secondary School.

The DJ’s performance took place after all formalities were completed.

Various institutions of higher learning put up stalls to share information with the learners.

The institutions also shared information on the processes of how to apply for a bursary.

Deputy Minister Buti Manamela addressed the learners.
