Waterberg tourism estate on mission to Russia

The Waterberg’s Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate is one of the two Limpopo-based tourist destinations on a marketing tour to the Russian capital of Moscow.

The other is the AM Lodge in Hoedspruit.

The Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) is spearheading the mission to promote tourism in the province.

The entourage left for Moscow and St Pietersburg on Friday 25 October.

LTA spokesperson, Ntlhekeng Kgatla, said the mission was an initiative of the State-owned South African Tourism.

He further said the journey also involved stakeholders from other provinces.

LTA CEO, Nomasonto Ndlovu, said they are excited to open up the new market.

“These workshops will help expose tour operators in that part of the world. We are confident that our province will not be the same after this trip, as there are tourism growth prospects from this new market,” Ndlovu said.
