In a bid to make life easier for Grade 12 learners in Modimolle, non-profit organization Paul Dave Foundation Institute has launched a campaign where people are encouraged to donate stationery.

On social media, the campaign is driven under #StationeryForOurMatriculants.

Paul Dave Foundation founder, Karabo Mokgosi, said the campaign is targeting to collect stationery that will be enough to cater for all matric learners at both Solomon Mahlangu High School and
Phagameng High School.

He said it was vital for the campaign to be kick-started as early as possible.

“Not everything being done for others has to be based on them struggling. We saw this as an investment in our youth,” she said.

Mokgosi said the purpose is to motivate the learners and to also show them support.

“We are not only motivating them, but showing them that we care for them we also want to show them we believe in them. They are the future,” she told The BEAT.

Mokgosi said they will be working closely with the management of the two schools, to ensure that the programme becomes a success.

The drop-off centre for the stationery is at Dr Moses Radipabe’s medical centre, based at the local town of Modimolle.

Alternatively, people can also contact Karabo Mokgosi on 067 678 5352 to make alternative arrangements.
