Bela-Bela police spokesperson, Frans Maponya, said the first accident took place around 20:30 on the N1 North Saturday 22 June.
He said a white Jetta collided with a trailer and rolled, killing two people, a 4-year-old girl and 40-year-old female driver.
The cause of the accident was still unknown.
The other incident happened on the N1 South, about 8 kilometres from the Setters/ Bela-Bela off-ramp.
Maponya said a white Isuzu bakkie collided with a truck, where one person died on the scene, and the other escaped with serious injuries.
The accident took place around 20:15 on the evening of Saturday 23 June.
The driver who passed away was a police official and stationed in Kempton Park in Gauteng.
