Phodiclinic in Bela-Bela serves the community

Bala-Bela Phodiclinic (previously known as St Vincent Hospital) is a well known private hospital in the Waterberg region.

The clinic was bought from the Roman Catholic Church in 2017 and has since improved on their infrastructure and services making it the obvious choice for surgical procedures and long term
services for chronic conditions.

Bela-Bela Phodiclinic is part of Discovery Day hospital network and thus the policy of no co-payment applies in the hospital on all day procedures.

Currently patients who are travelling to Pretoria or Polokwane or the likes there of, for the same procedures and services rendered in our facility, will have to pay a minimum of R5 000 on
admission unless they have the procedures done in a facility on the Day network providers list.

Phodiclinic accommodate mothers to stay with their children up to the age of seven (7), this is to alleviate the anxiety caused by separation and to assist the healing process.

In the maternity ward, fathers can stay overnight after the delivery of their new born baby, to improve bonding and to support their spouses with their new born baby.

From June 2019 APA ambulance services will have their base at the hospital and thus a 24 hrs service is on our doorstep.

Bela-Bela Phodiclinic Casualty department is run by the competent and professional Dr AN Nambi and renders excellent services to their patients.

Patients can be admitted for Road Accident fund (RAF) claims, Workmen’s Compensation Act (WCA) claims, maternity, gynaecology, general medical conditions, surgical, paediatrics and emergency cases.

A number of acclaimed specialists have consulting rooms on our premises. They render medical services of outstanding quality without the hassle of travelling to the city to obtain specialist
care. They are Drs H Nel (gynaecologist and obstetrician),R Viljoen (general surgeon), DP Sebola (gynaecologist and obstetrician), C Grabe (orthopeadic surgeon), J Oosthuizen (orthopaedic
surgeon), JDC Heymans (orthopaedic surgeon) and Prof D Montwedi (general surgeon).
