A section of the streets of Bela-Bela will on Saturday 20 April be transformed into a catwalk.

Zak Ministry and Letties Fashion organiser, Zak Mosweu, said the intended effect was to showcase both fashion and the poise of local wannabe models to a broader audience, as opposed to an
indoors event.

The street parade takes place in the vicinity of Dubai Tavern in Extension 5.

Zak Ministry and Letties Fashion is hosting the fashion parade for the third year running.

The difference this time around, said Mosweu, was that models would take to the streets instead of indoors.

He said it was hoped the initiative would encourage other wannabe youngsters to take up modelling, and also fashion design as a career.

Local deejays were to be roped in to spice up the event.
