Johan Abrie on DA provincial list

Modimolle’s politician Johan Abrie has been placed on the DA’s provincial list ahead of the general elections scheduled for 8 May.

Abrie is the former speaker for the Modimolle Mookgophong Council, and also a former member of the provincial legislature.

The DA list has also declared that Lindy Wilson, the incumbent Bela-Bela, Modimolle and Mookgophong constituency head, as part of the party’s list for the National Assembly.

She is currently an outgoing member of parliament who is being nudged by the party leadership to return to Cape Town.

The DA has placed Mogalakwena, Molemole and Blouberg constituency head, Beyers Smit, on the list for the National Assembly.

He is formerly a member of the National Council of Provinces and a deputy provincial chairperson in Limpopo.

DA Limpopo leader Jacques Smalle is once again on the list for the provincial legislature.

Lephalale and Thabazimbi constituency head and a current MPL, Risham Maharaj, is also on the list for the Limpopo provincial legislature.
