Ivorian guard goes missing

A security officer from the Ivory Coast has been reported missing.

A security officer from the Ivory Coast has been reported missing.

ISFO Security employee, Julien Tienouhi Zehondi, was last seen on Saturday 9 March.

Investigating officer, Warrant Officer Jerry Mongatane, has confirmed that a case of a missing person has been reported with the SAPS in Bela-Bela.

Zehondi was stationed at Marulani Game Lodge, about seven kilometres outside Bela-Bela.

The 58-year-old man works for the ISFO security company.

According to his colleague, Christopher Kitenge, the missing Zehondi never showed any signs of anxiety or intentions to leave.

He said he was last seen on Saturday night, but come Sunday morning the Ivorian national was nowhere to be found.

Kitenge said Zehondi has since been reported missing at the police station in Bela-Bela.
