Hope for the outdoors as sunny weekend beckons

The Weather Service has forecast a sunny weekend in large parts of the Waterberg.

The town of Modimolle has a forecast of sunny and partly cloudy conditions for Friday 8 February, with temperatures at a high of 33 degrees.

The weatherman has forecast a sunny Saturday for Modimolle, but with temperatures ticking up to a scorching 35 degrees.

Sunday was forecast to offer mainly sunny conditions with temperatures at around the upper 30s.

However, come Monday the Weather Service has warned of the risk of thunderstorms, with temperatures dropping to the higher 20s.

In the town of Bela-Bela the Weather Service has forecast light rain for Friday, with temperatures at around the lower 30s.

The weatherman has forecast cloudy skies for both Saturday and Sunday in Bela-Bela.

In Mookgophong the weatherman has forecast partly cloudy conditions for Friday, with temperatures at a cool lower 20s.

Some sunshine was forecast for the town of Mookgophong on Saturday.
