Pienaarsrivier’s Bathopele Secondary School should be proud of its best performers flowing from the matric results, among them the shy Phindi Msiza.

The 17-year-old achieved an impressive three distinctions, contributing to her school’s incredible 92,18%, overall.

Accompanied by her loving mother, Minah, during a visit to The BEAT offices, Phindi said she was ready to enter the world of tertiary education.

Bathopele Secondary School continued to emerge as one of the best performing schools in the Waterberg, in terms of matric results.

Phindi achieved the three distinctions in Life Sciences, Geography and English.

She has applied for a placing at the University of Johannesburg and the Sefako Makgatho Health Science University outside Pretoria, where her ambition is to study radiography.

Phindi attributed her good results to hard work during the school year.

Her mother Minah said she was proud of her hardworking daughter.
