Lephalale garments in Bela-Bela

Lephalale fashion designer, Zak White, better known as the Chief Moderator, showcased his creations alongside other designers during a show at the Bela-Bela Multipurpose Centre Saturday 11 August.

The locals were Sarie Hlongwane, Sfiso Maswanganye and Lerato Mokoena.

White exhibited his stuff working with his partner Quinton Mosima, with a total of 18 of their creations on show.

White said the event was aimed at bringing different designers together to tell their own stories, through fashion and bring different tastes and styles into the local fashion industry.

Models from Genysis Modeling Agency, led by Jonas Mngomezulu, paraded the garments on show.

The latter agency was established in 2015.

Also in attendance were Polokwane-based designer Peter Matlala, former Lephalale FM DJ Druza and Nosipho Langa from the soapie Skeem Saam on SABC1 Monday to Friday.
