Raborolo motivates Bela-Bela youth

David Raborolo of the Bela-Bela Local Municipality had the audience eating out of his palm, when he motivated and shared his life experiences with them.

David Raborolo of the Bela-Bela Local Municipality had the audience eating out of his palm, when he motivated and shared his life experiences with them.

This happened when the Divisional Manager for Sports, Arts and Culture in the municipality addressed the audience during the 2018 Mayor’s Cup launch, held at the local multipurpose centre on Saturday 23 June.

Players from various sporting codes, including soccer teams from across Bela-Bela and representatives of the Local Football Association, attended the event.

Raborolo addressed those present on behalf of Mayor Jeremiah Ngobeni, who could not attend due to other official commitments.

In his address, Raborolo shared his challenges, achievements and plans with the youngsters.

The draw for the Mayor’s Cup has pitted Diesel ‘n Dust FC against Tuff and Nuff FC, in a match scheduled to take place on Saturday 30 June, while Bela-Bela Pirates FC will play against Swagger FC.

Platinum FC was fixtured to play Happy Hearts FC on Sunday 1 July, with Samba Boys FC playing against United FC.

Sporting FC was fixtured to do battle with Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC.

All the games will take place at Sunfa Stadium.
