The police in Limpopo believed they were on track to crack down on criminality, against the backdrop of the continuation of Operation Fiela.

SAPS provincial spokesperson, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, said in the Bela-Bela, Dennilton and Mahwelereng policing areas, a total of three suspected drug dealers were rounded off on Saturday June 16.

Operation Fiela comprised of roadblocks, tracking down wanted suspects, patrols, and stop-and-search operations.

Several other suspects linked to serious crimes such as business robbery, were rounded up in other parts of the province.

Ngoepe said allegedly stolen items such as three motor vehicles, cellphones and 54 boxes of school shoes, were recovered.

Six sachets of crystal methane drugs and 48 packets of the nyaope concoction, were also recovered.

Ngoepe said that all the arrested suspects were scheduled to appear before their respective regional courts, while investigations continued.
