Waterberg SAB Regional League early pacesetters, Mookgophong Barcelona, stumbled in the team’s quest to compete for league honours.

Mookgophong Barcelona FC has now dropped from second to third on the league log standings, after losing 2-1 to newcomers, Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC last weekend.

Mookgophong Barcelona was on Saturday 24 November scheduled to receive fifth-placed Junior Stars FC, who were runaway 4-0 winners over rookies Vaalwater Stormbreakers FC last weekend.

Modimolle Terrors FC remained top of the standings, with yet another 2-1 victory over homeboys Modimolle Celtic FC.

The log leaders, who play host to 11th-placed Bela-Bela Pirates FC, have won four from four, collecting a total of 12 points.

Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC, who seem set to rise from the relegation zone, was scheduled to pay a visit to third-placed Opleft FC, who last werekend collected maximum points, winning 2-1
against Qualitho FC.

Qualitho FC has a home fixture against seventh-placed Bela-Bela Diesel ‘n Dust FC.

In other fixtures Modimolle Troublemakers FC – still licking wounds following a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of Bela-Bela Pirates FC – would be away to Boys 2 Men FC.

Waterberg SAB Regional League tail-enders, Vaalwater Stormbreakers FC , would play hosts to Modimolle Celtic FC, while Swagger FC welcomes NTK Happy Boys, and Vaalwater Highlighters welcomes Bussel FC.

It is early days yet but at only one point from four fixtures, early season tail-enders Vaalwater Stormbreakers FC, was headed for oblivion if the boys do not start collecting maximum points
at this stage of the campaign.

Also in the doldrums is second-from-bottom Bussel FC, which somewhat eased its anxiety after a 1-all draw with 13-th-placed Boys 2 Men FC last weekend.
