Mass university application day

The #100KidsToVarsity team will be hosting a Mass Varsity Application Day for learners in Bela-Bela on Saturday 22 September.

The event would take place at the Bela-Bela Community Hall.

The #100KidsToVarsity team member, Goitsione Ngobese, said the organization would be hosting the event in collaboration with the Bela-Bela Local Municipality, Twins Auto Services, RaMesh
Water, and Bela-Bela Maths and Science Centre.

Ngobese said the main objective of the event was to target matriculants and Grade 11 learners, who have been encouraged to come in their numbers, to be assisted with applications for tertiary
institutions.

The event was also aimed at enlightening learners on issues related to bursaries, the National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NFSAS), as well as registrations for the National Benchmark Test.

Private and public sector institutions of higher learning have also been invited to take part.
