As the world was celebrating the national Mandela Day event, children in Modimolle also received gifts from the local community on Wednesday 18 July.
As the world was celebrating the national Mandela Day event, children in Modimolle also received gifts from the local community on Wednesday 18 July.
The management and staff of Tolcon Group kept the children at Sedibeng Happy Angels Centre warm with winter clothes.
Speaking on behalf of Tolcon Group, Anna Ramere, said this was part of the initiative where members of the staff make contributions towards improving the lives of their own community.
Sedibeng founder Iris Komane thanked all the departments and the private sector for bringing the gifts for the children.
“We are happy for all these contributions. The children were also happy to receive so much love from the community,” she said.
Modimolle-Mookgophong Municipality, Working on Fire, Department of Social Development, Hands of Hope, Organisation Hands On, Legal Aid SA, Makgobathe Security and Rakhutsetsa Security also
contributed towards revamping the building at Sedibeng, and keeping the children warm with winter clothes.
