The manhunt for three farm attack suspects in Vaalwater continued this week.

The farm attack took place in Vaalwater on Friday 1 June, whereby a 70-year-old pensioner was surprised by the alleged intruders.

Those with information which could lead to apprehension of the suspects were advised to make contact with Warrant Officer Johannes Metheus Keyter at 082 565 8637, the nearest police station,
the crime stop number 0860010111 or the crime line SMS, 32211.

The police in Vaalwater made a breakthrough in arresting one of the suspects, a 33-year-old man for a house robbery that happened during the farm attack.

Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said a 70-year-old farmer was allegedly surprised by four armed suspects

The suspects then frog-marched him into the farmhouse, wherein he was allegedly robbed of jewellery, four firearms,a Ford Ranger bakkie and an undisclosed amount of cash, before the foursome
fled ther scene in the farmer’s stolen vehicle.

He said at the time of the arrest, allegedly stolen items, including R8 500 in cash and two toy guns were recovered.

Police investigations continue.
