Baroka the only hope for Limpopo

It never rains but pours for Limpopo’s teams campaigning in the elite Absa Premiership.

the 15th slot.

The Venda ensemble has a home fixture against stubborn Stellenbosch United (8) at Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday 2 February.

Black Leopards FC has thus far collected 17 points from 19 Absa Premiership League fixtures.

Polokwane City FC, second from bottom of the standings, will on Sunday travel to KwaZulu Stadium for a date with the likewise struggling Amazulu.

The Zulu Kingdom’s so-called Usuthu stand at the bottom of the standings with 17 points from 16 fixtures.

In other Absa Premiership action over the weekend, Maritzburg United FC (6) welcomes Cape Town City FC (10), whilst the revived Orlando Pirates FC (4) have an away encounter with Chippa United FC 12).

Third-placed Supersport United FC travels to the Eastern Cape capital of Nelson Mandela Bay, to do battle with Chippa United (12).
