Countdown to Feed a Child charity concert

There is only 15 days left before the hosting of second annual Feed a Child charity concert, on Sunday 22 December at Mokopane’s Charissa Hall.

There is only 15 days left before the hosting of second annual Feed a Child charity concert, on Sunday 22 December at Mokopane’s Charissa Hall.

A crème de la crème of local talent was expected to be on display during the function, with people from various parts of the region expected to make a difference in the lives of children
through this event.

Instead of purchasing tickets or paying an entry fee at the door, members of the public are advised to bring non-perishable items such as canned food, rice, maize meal, tea bags or any other
foodstuffs which can be collected, stored and later donated to orphanages.

The event will be hosted by Bishop Peter Lebelo of the Mokopane-based Charissa Worship Ministries, and was organised by saxophonist Tumelo Mohlabisi and Apostle Kgomotjo Lebelo.

A line-up of various gospel artists including Tumelo M, Benji, Khomotso Koka, Lebo KP, Welcome, Randy, Mahlako, Faith Digashu, Jawa and Multi B was put together to entertain the audience during the event.

On behalf of the organisers of the event, Mohlabisi called on members of the public to support the initiative.

“We appreciate the support we received during the inaugural event last year, and we are still anticipating a positive response this year, too,” he said.
