The massive manhunt that the police in Northam launched recently following a business robbery in the area, has still not yet yielded results.

The suspects are still at large.

The police announced recently that they are still looking for the business robbery suspects who fled after robbing a local restaurant on the evening of 25 July 2019.

It is alleged that four unknown suspects armed with an AK 47, an R5 rifle and 9mm pistols fired several shots at the entrance of the business while the owner was about to close.

Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the owner was then instructed to open the restaurant door, and the suspects demanded car keys and money which was inside a bag.

Ngoepe said that afterwards, the suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and with a security vehicle and the owner’s Toyota Hilux bakkie.

He further said that the two motor vehicles were later found abandoned not far from the crime scene.

The Police believe the person in the picture can assist with investigations.
