The firefighters were dispatched to assist in combating the huge Chuckegg Creek fire which has destroyed over 340,000 hectares of land.

The team returned on Tuesday 30 July, among them Rooiberg-based Tonic Matlhare, Maria Voo of Vaalwater, and Daphney Laka of Lephalale.
