The riddle of the discovery of a human skull outside Bela-Bela continues with the police by Tuesday 23 July disclosing that no new clues had emerged.

An unnamed jogger had, on Saturday 13 July, made the gruesome discovery of a human skull, bones and a boot.

The jogger was running through game farmlands outside Bela-Bela when he made the discovery on the premises of the Marulani Game Lodge.

Bela-Bela police spokesperson, Sergeant Frans Maponya, said on Tuesday investigations steamed on, adding the identity of the human remains would be determined by DNA tests.

The Marulani Game Lodge management has said the human remains could not be linked to anyone on the farm.
