Doors open for Bela-Bela’s Andile Zikhali

Bela-Bela Soccer Academy goal-keeper Andile Zikhali (17) is headed for trials at the prestigious Stars of Africa Academy.

He was due to leave for Johannesburg on Monday 1 July.

Zikhali and other players arriving from various parts of the country were expected to be assessed over two days.

The Stars of Africa Academy is headed by former Kaizer Chiefs coach, Farouk Khan.

Sensational players such as former Bafana Bafana team-mates, May Mahlangu and Tokelo Rantie, were shaped at the academy.

Bela-Bela Soccer Academy coach Sam Modise attributed Zikhali’s break to downright hard work.
