Colonel Ngoepe visits The BEAT and Die Pos

Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe touched base with reporters from The BEAT and Die Pos/The Post newspapers on Wednesday 28 May.

The colonel was on a whistle-stop tour of various police stations across the Waterberg and beyond.

The objective, he said, was to bring together police stations’ media liaison officers and local media.

He assured reporters that from time to time responses towards the media might be a tad slow, more often than not because the police had to make sure of their facts before going public on often
sensitive issues.

He nudged both the police and media to build a healthy relationship with the courts, too.
