Successful day at Tractor Club

Due to our marketing campaign and your promotion in The Post, we had visitors from as far afield as Polokwane, Dendron and Groblersdal.

Robbie Weir, Chairperson: Settlers Veteran Tractor Club, writes:

On behalf of the Settlers Veteran Tractor Club and the Settlers Agri Museum I would like to thank The Post for promoting our Open Day at the museum.

The wonderful articles written by Ronel van Jaarsveld and the follow up in the newspaper is much appreciated.

Our second Open Day was a huge success. We doubled the number of visitors from 220 to over 400. Once more the food stalls were excellent and they could hardly keep up with the demand.

Due to our marketing campaign and your promotion in The Post, we had visitors from as far afield as Polokwane, Dendron and Groblersdal. A keen interest to participate in next year’s exhibition was shown and we will keep the interest by sending information on our current veteran tractors.

A common thread was: “It is great getting out into the countryside and away from the city. A relaxing day for the whole family and enjoyed by all.”

Let us hope this predicts even more visitors in future.
