The delegation was led by Mamelodi Sundowns veteran Russel Molefe.

The four are namely attacking midfielder Kgomotso Makhanda (16), Gontse Molokomme (16), Kabelo Mokoena (16) and Ofentse Matjila (16). Molefe and his delegation attended an inter-schools’
tournament on Saturday 11 June featuring, among others, Bela-Bela Soccer Academy. The tournament featured Bela-Bela Soccer Academy, Raeleng Secondary School and Maope High School, played at the Bela-Bela High School Stadium.

Bela-Bela Soccer Academy head coach, Sam Modise, said he was happy about the progress made by the foursome.

Mokoena and Molokomme formed part of South Africa’s under-17 squad which played in the four nations’ tournament in the Lesotho capital of Maseru last December.

The other player on the national squad from Bela-Bela was Ralph Ledwaba.

They were selected from a total of 50 hopefuls from across the nation.
